How much does your monitoring cost?
This depends on the type of equipment in your home, monitoring rates range from $29.99 to $39.99.

I have a store bought alarm system that I installed myself. Is this compatible with Honeywell equipment?
No. Unless the existing equipment in your home is Honeywell, ADI, or Ademco, they will not work compatibly.

I have a pet that moves around the house, can I still use a motion detector?
Yes. Our motion detectors are pet immune up to 80 pds.

I live in an apartment, can I have a security system installed?
Yes. However, your landlord has to approve the agreement.

How long does it take to have a system installed?
This depends on the type and amount of equipment being installed. Average installs take between 30-90 minutes.

Which type of system is superior, hardwired or wireless?
Both systems are equally effective. Generally people with existing (pre-wired) homes will choose hardwired, and new customers will choose wireless.

Why do I need a smoke detector if I already have one?
Our smoke detectors are wired to your local monitoring station, and actually alert the authorities of any emergency.

What is 2-way voice monitoring?
2-way voice, works like a speaker phone, or walkie-talkie between you and the monitoring station. In the event of an emergency one of our quick response monitoring staff will address you audibly through the keypad. Rather than calling on the phone, the monitoring staff can quickly assess the situation as it is taking place, and alert the proper authorities. You have the ability to respond to the dispatcher through the built in microphone that is 3 times more sensitive than the human ear.

What is GSM Cellular monitoring?
Cellular monitoring uses local cell towers to transmit any emergency alerts your security system may produce. Because the transmission is cellular, your system will still be effective in the event your home telephone lines are cut, or during a power outage.
